These terms are the agreement between you and us for using Steady. We've kept them as plain as we reasonably can — please read them before you use the App.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Steady mobile application for iOS and Android (the "App" or "Service"), operated by THE WHOLEARC LABS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED ("WholeArc Labs", "we", "us", or "our").
By downloading, creating an account on, or using Steady, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Steady. If you are under 18, you may only use the App with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, as required by applicable law including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. By using the App you confirm that you meet these requirements.
You create an account using email and password, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
Steady lets you create habits and attach photos to your check-ins ("Your Content"). You keep ownership of Your Content. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display Your Content back to you solely to operate the App — for example, to save your check-in photos and show your past laps. We don't claim ownership of your photos and we don't make them public or share them with other users.
You're responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to upload it. Don't upload content that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, or contains material you don't have permission to share.
When using Steady, you agree not to:
Steady is free to start. Some features or items may be available through the in-app store as one-time purchases or subscriptions. All payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your device, and are subject to their terms. We don't receive or store your payment-card details.
Subscriptions, if offered, renew automatically unless cancelled through your App Store or Google Play account before the renewal date. Refunds are handled according to Apple's or Google's refund policies, not by us directly. Manage or cancel purchases in your device's account settings.
Steady is a habit-tracking tool, not a source of medical, health, psychological, financial, or other professional advice. It's intended to help you keep up your own routines, and nothing in the App should be treated as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. Use your own judgement, especially for habits relating to your health.
The Steady name, logo, branding, design, and the App itself (excluding Your Content) are owned by WholeArc Labs and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial use. These Terms don't transfer any ownership of the App to you.
Steady relies on third-party services, including Google Firebase, the Apple App Store, and Google Play, to function. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms and policies. We aren't responsible for third-party services we don't control.
If you download Steady from the Apple App Store, the following also applies:
We're a small team and we may update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the App at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continuing to use Steady after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
You can stop using Steady and delete your account at any time from within the App. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the App in a way that could harm other users, us, or the Service. On termination, your right to use the App ends, though some provisions (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) survive.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will always be available, and we aren't responsible for data loss that results from your device, your network, or third-party services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WholeArc Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use of (or inability to use) the App.
You agree to indemnify and hold WholeArc Labs harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
